Sensoren is a Philadelphia–based experimental electronic music project built over a decade of musical experiences, influenced by everything from pop to avant–garde to extreme music, with the goal of creating sonically satisfying compositionsthat reflect the range of emotions defining our modern existence. The upcoming album—Idiot Brain—is the first installment in this experiment. It is split evenly between newly composed tracks and reworked songs composed over the past decade. The result is a collection of surprisingly danceable songs punctuated with elements of tension, pain, frustration, and sadness—distilling human experience into assemblages of intangible frequencies and cathartic listening experiences.
